Boil Water Advisory

A Boil water Advisory is in effect for the following customers: Beginning at 3354 Black Log Road and continuing to top Buck Creek Mountain this will also include all of Little Rockcastle. South wolf creek. Pigeon Roost. Emily creek and Meat house and hollows and sub hollows between the listed areas
This Advisory has been issued due to the following reasons: Main Line Break, this will affect approximately 390 customers
Following such an event the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply: therefore, this boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice. Boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for (3) minutes before using.
This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected, and the test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.

Due to a main line break, water will be shut off beginning at 3354 Blacklog Road and continuing to the top of Buck Creek Mountain. This will also include all of Little Rockcastle, South Wolf Creek, Pigeon Roost, Emily Creek, and Meathouse and any hollows and sub hollows between the listed areas.
These customers may experience low pressure or outages. Service will be restored once staff completes repairs. We appreciate your patience as we continue our effort and ask that you use caution while traveling near our utility workers.
Once water is restored to customers, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until samples are collected and released.

Notice of Martin County Sanitation Tariff Revision
Martin County Sanitation District hereby gives notice that the Martin County Sanitation District Tariff has been revised. The changes will be effective on January 1, 2026.
An electronic copy of the Martin County Sanitation Tariff can be found by visiting mcub.org and navigating to our website at: mcub.myruralwater.com, then select Forms & Reports, MCSD Ordinance, MCS Revised Tariff. A hard copy will also be available at the billing office located at 387 E Main Street, Suite 140 in Inez, Kentucky.
