A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for the customers of Fitch Branch, Cassell Branch and Milo. This includes all hollows, side roads, and subdivisions in the affected area.
This Advisory has been issued due to the following reason: Break in 6” main line, this will affect approximately 25 customers.
Following such an event the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply: therefore, this boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice boils all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for (3) minutes before use.
This advisory will remain in effect until test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.

An outage for system maintenance is in effect for the following customers: On September 2nd, 2025, customers in the Fitch Branch, Cassell Branch and Milo areas will temporarily be without water service as staff will be on site to make repairs on the 6in water main. Work is already in progress. Once water is restored to customers a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until samples are collected and lab results show no contamination is present.
