Attention Customers:
Distribution Staff will be flushing the system in all areas affected by the water outage related to the main break and valve replacement along Highway 40 E. This will include the following customers: Beginning at 3354 Blacklog Rd and continuing to the top of Buck Creek Mountain. This will also include all of Little Rockcastle Rd, South Wolf Creek, Pigeon Roost, Emily Creek, and Meathouse and any hollows and sub hollows between the listed areas.
If you notice any discoloration of water in your residence following the outage, please contact our afterhours number 606-626-0189 so we can address any flushing needs in the system. Thank you for your patience as our utility workers restore and flush your water service.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY

A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for the following customers: Beginning at 3354 Blacklog Road and continuing to the top of Buck Creek Mountain. This will also include all of Little Rockcastle Road, South Wolf Creek, Pigeon Roost, Emily Creek, Meathouse and any hollows and sub hollows. This location is in Martin County Kentucky.
This Advisory has been issued due to the following reason: Repair of an 8” main line. This affects approximately 390 customers.
Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply; therefore, this boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three (3) minutes before using.
This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected, and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.

These customers may experience low pressure or outages. Service will be restored once staff completes repairs. We appreciate your patience as we continue our effort and ask that you use caution while traveling near our utility workers.
Once water is restored to customers, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until samples are collected and released.
